Frank was a very special guy. He and I went to Guy Drummond together and we were in the same "gang". I was at Camp Pembina with Frank and his sister Lois. As "adults" we relived our youth at the camp reunion on site swimming in Lajoie Falls together.
Fast forward - when our son was a passenger in a serious car accident I will never ever forget the call that I received from Frank. Something so small and yet I can still feel the emotional impact it had on me today. That was a big part of who Frank was.
Later when I was on a board for an anthroposophic community in Val David I asked Frank, because of his caring for others, to join me on the board and after visiting the community he accepted. I always enjoyed my ride up to the community with Frank. This was the time of the Meech Lake Accord and I loved his keen analysis of the situation, his sound economic recommendations for the community, and his pride when he spoke of his children.
I will never forget his compassion - he was a special guy.
