I changed my name from GLADYS Holtzman to GILA Cupchik when I married Will Cupchik 45 years ago. I kept my Hebrew name even after we separated 7 years later.

With the birth of our son, home became Toronto. 

Jeff is now completing his Doctorate in Musicology.

With my BFA, I taught mostly Art for 36 fun years, spending summers camping, spelunking and flying.  Mid-life had me backpacking around the planet for a year.  A decade of retirement still sees me involved in environmental and human rights concerns while my family, painting, photography, rental businesses, travel and my playmate/partner of 25 years, David Taylor, fill my life.

Hi Gila (Gladys) and thanks for posting our 7th grade class picture.

I am sorry I was not present at the 50th Anniversary-it would have been nice to meet you once again. Several years ago I bumped into Naomi Cohen who indicated to me that you had moved to Toronto along with several of our other classmates. Time surely flies.
