Upon graduation, I attended McGill University where I received my B.A.
During my studies I married Arnold Isaacson and chaired McGill Combined Charities. Both yielded dividends - two children Heidi and Jared on the one hand, and my heavy involvement with the Jewish community in a voluntary capacity on the other.
I worked in the family business while raising my children and then became active in the fight to free Soviet Jewry, became President of Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University (Quebec and Eastern Regions), Member of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University, was Chair of the Women’s Campaign, Federation CJA 2001, served as President of Women’s Federation CJA 2003-2005 and a Vice President and member of the Executive of \Federation CJA 2003-2005, am a recipient of the Golda Meir Award for Israel Bonds in 2006. Presently serving a two year term as Co- Chair of Women’s Division UIA Canada and a member on the Board of numerous organizations.
I am pursuing my hobby of cooking and entertaining. With 4500 cookbooks in my collection, I am planning to write my own cookbook.
