Education: B.Eng. (Mcgill) 1962, M.Eng (McGill) 1964.  Family: Married Hazel Meltzer (Outremont High class of 1959) in 1962.  I moved  to Dollard Des Ormeaux in 1968.

I have two children:  Martin is an MD, rheumatologist at the Montreal General and Pointe Claire; Ricky has a Ph.D. in Neuro Pharmacology  and has a lab at Rutgers University. Ricky has three grandchildren: Alexander 20, Caroline 12 and Tyler 6.

I worked at IBM in Montreal from 1964 and retired in 1992.  I held various positions in marketing, management and consulting.  I specialized in online database application development in manufacturing, distribution and office automation.

After retiring from IBM I bought a small furniture manufacturing company which makes residential dinette sets and commercial tables and chairs for restaurants, banquette halls and living quarters.  I sold this business in February 2007

Over the past 45 years I was also involved in the development and management of real estate.

Community Activities: Upon moving to Dollard Des Ormeaux we joined Congregation Beth Tikvah where I held the position of Parnass for many years and now hold the position of House Chairman.
