After graduation from Outremont High, I attended McGill University where I received a BSc Degree in 1961, followed by an MD Degree in 1965.
I did post-graduate training in Diagnostic Radiology in san Francisco and New York and then returned to Montreal in 1970. After completing the Royal College Fellowship Examinations, I joined the Dept. of Radiology at the Jewish General Hospital.
I 1972, I moved with my then young family to Toronto where I joined the Diagnostic Imaging staff of the Toronto East General Hospital, an affiliation which I have maintained for the past 35 years, including 17 years as department chief, from 1985 - 2002. I am still in active practice now but now work a reduced work week.
Sylvia (Altrows) and I have been married for 41 years. We have two adult children - both lawyers - and four grandchildren.
