After graduating from OHS, I attended McGill University and then McDonald College where I received a teaching Diploma.
I married Stanley Gross in June 1959.
After teaching briefly at a school in St. Michel, we started a family, producing two wonderful daughters. I was a full-time mother as well as a volunteer in several community organizations. When my children attended school, I did substitute teaching. I then returned to school, attending Concordia University where I graduated with a certificate in Family Life Education. I was employed by Jewish Family Services and taught groups in many schools as well leading several adult groups.
Throughout this period, I became an enthusiastic skier, avid golfer, gym attendee and volunteer for community organizations.
I remained in the profession for about ten years.
My husband died about five and a half years ago.
I now devote my time to my children and four grandchildren as well as volunteering for Cummings Senior Centre, playing golf and bridge and working out at the YMHA.
