Since I left Outremont High, I attended MacDonald college for a Teaching Diploma and then furthered my studies at Concordia University where I got a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

I taught Kindergarten and Nursery at United Talmud Torah in Ville St. Laurent for 16 years.

I married my husband, Adrian Herland who graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree from McGill University.

I had twin sons. We moved to Ottawa in 1977 where I pursued my career as a Teacher. I even taught the children of former pupils from Montreal who also moved to Ottawa.

One of my sons, Jonathan is a lawyer in Tel Aviv where he passed the Israeli Bar as well as the New York State Bar. He graduated law school from McGill University.  His brother Neil graduated Journalism from Carleton University, Ottawa and is working for CBC Radio Canada as a producer and reporter at the United Nations in New York.

After my retirement, 7 years ago, I became more active in the Jewish Community Centre where my husband and I participate in most of their activities including Bridge, Mah Jongg and Aerobics.  We also do a great deal of travelling, mostly to Europe and Florida.

Sorry we can’t be with you in person for the Outremont High Reunion as we will be away in Spain.
