After graduation from Outremont High, Norman attended McGill which led to his CA degree. Norman married Susan Kornbluth  (YES Ellie's cousin!)  in 1965 & was blessed with 2 daughters. Cote St Luc was his home until 1982 when a business opportunity presented itself & the family moved to Cherry Hill, NJ.

As we began to anticipate retirement , we moved to an active adult community in Marlton NJ. Although the Friedman family enjoyed happiness & success we did face a challenge in 1994 when Norman was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia (CLL). There were many peaks & valleys over the next 12 years, but sadly on Oct 30 2006 we lost him.
