After high school, I spent a year working at the Bell. I then went to SGWC for 1 year followed by a lab tech program at the JGH.. After 18 years of working with blood, body fluids and bacteria, I felt it was time for a change. So I entered a nursing program and lo and behold , 2 years later became an RN (Real Nurse). Now I work with the donors of the blood, body fluids and bacteria. I have been in nursing since 1979 working in critical care, recovery room, assorted medical offices and now, oncology. I’ve loved every minute of it.
One of my biggest dreams growing up was to travel and I ‘m happy to say I’ve accomplished that goal. I have lived in Israel and England and am now happily ensconced in Southern Calif. I have traveled extensively as a tourist and have no plans of giving that up.
As mentioned before, I am now residing in the greater LA area with my husband Milt and our cat Percy. Now that I’m kind of retired, I have more time for the things I really enjoy.
You might find me sitting in the front or back yard pulling weeds and planting flowers, reading, watching movies and of course traveling.
I was looking forward to seeing everyone again but as it turns out, I will not be able to attend the reunion. Hope you all have fun and count me in at the next one.
