Why the Four Points by Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel was chosen
The reason the "organizing committee" choose this hotel is as follows:
-The hotel provides a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel.
-The affair is called for 6:00 p:m. Parking would be very difficult downtown whereas
it is not a problem at the hotel.
-David Gurberg is getting corporate rates on the rooms and on the hall rental.
-The cost at the 4 Seasons before the corporate rate is a lot cheaper than it would
be downtown.
-We are gathering for the camaraderie not the location....!!!!!!!!!
We will be organizing a hospitality committee to help in any way we can...
Hope to see you there . We are doing a lot of work to pull this off....

The first classmate to register
for our reunion is Allen Feldman whose recent photo and a cheque for the registration and advertisement fees was received by Mannie Young on October 13, 2006. Felicitations!

HIGH SCHOOL REUNION: A 50th anniversary reunion for Outremont High School will take place at the Four Points Sheraton (6600 Cote de Liesse) on May 5 and 6, 2007. Dr. Gerald Rudy, one of the key organizers, reports that 78 classmates have already confirmed their attendance. Just log on to www.outremont-high.com. There is already a list of the attendees under the “who's coming” tab. “We have 183 classmates on the list,” says Rudy. “Twelve are deceased and there are a number we can't find. These are evident on the ‘who's coming’ list by their lack of an email address and phone number. If anyone has contact information on any of the missing classmates I would like to hear from them.” E-mail grudy@mac.com or Gerald.rudy@geraldrudy.com.
Have you got something to talk about in the Public Eye? E-mail mcohen@thesuburban.com, call 514-484-1107, ext. 307 or fax 514-483-7213.

Good morning
Paul and I will get into our car in a few minutes.
We are staying with my youngest son and his wife and 2 darling babies until we go to the reunion. I have been corresponding with Yigal Horowitz (we also went to Camp Massad together) and Jerry Cohen and Mel Kerstein (yes, Mark London and I know that he will not be there, due largely to his back) and Lionel. Lionel and I have been in touch and seen each other throughout the last 50 years. I am thrilled about the special ceremony for him. It will be sentimental and a hoot.
I spoke to my cousin Susan Kornbluth Friedman who told me how much her husband Normie wanted to be with us. I told her about the memorial service. Such a nice touch!
This will be a weekend to be cherished. Lots of fun and laughs too. I am grateful to you and your committee who are making it happen for all of us.
Thanks you, thank you, thank you

THANK YOU Marian Feldman Hoppenheim
It was more than the call of duty for you to offer your home for a brunch for a large number of people.
Marian, it was most appreciated....you put the icing on the cake for a great reunion.
Thank you very much for all that you did.
