GURBERG, Arleen (nee Bernstein) Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Beloved wife of David. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Tanya, Ron and Carole. Cherished grandma of Tyler, Zachary, and Tristan. Adored daughter of Ruth and Eddie Bernstein. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Kari Kirzner, David and Lynn Bernstein, and sister-in-law of Marian Gurberg. Arleen will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Kris, Jessica, Matthew, Kelly, Brian (Sophia), Susan (Roy), her great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Jacob, Olivia, and Shane, and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Dr. Angela Genge and the wonderful staff at the Montreal Neurological Institute for their compassion and dedication throughout the last year. A very special mention and profound appreciation to her caregivers, Mary Jane Fantonial, Flora Cruz and Carina Bangsail. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, May 14 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 92 Celtic Drive, Beaconsfield, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday and Monday, May 16 and 17. Due to the Festival of Shavuos, shiva ends Tuesday evening, May 18.
